RBSC Mini-League - Week 1 |
First of all I would like to thanks all the players and members who turn up last night at RBSC for our first game in the mini-league.
Unfortunately, sometime things are not going as we want.
Despite a good first half who make us lead 8-0, and a good start on the second, we slowly loose our concentration and discipline combined with couple of injuries. That gave the Southerners, the possibility to come back on the game after scoring 2 try within 5 mn, to lead 10-8 with 10 min to play. Unfortunately, with 2 players sin bin, it became Impossible Mission to make up the gap and gave the possibility to the opposition to run the ball and score 2 additional try. So with a victory 24-8 and after almost a year of privation, the Southerners finally deserve to take back the SOI 33 Cup.
On the previous game, we could see few Bangers on the field, playing the Bangkok Japanese. They proudly gave all their best, specially on scrums and defences but that was not enough to stop a young and fast RBSC team, who finally won the game with few try on the score board.
Thanks again to all the players and remember, for those who are not injured that, TRAINING IS ON SUNDAY.
